Conceptual Speech Commander Pre-Release 2 is now available to the public as a download. This version handles audio input and responds with the conceptual speech recognition analysis of its content. It also includes our Conceptual Language Understanding Engine (CLUE) for performing conceptual analysis of text. To try it, click here.

Conceptual Speech Recognition (CSR) frees users from having to go through menu prompts and complex or numerous grammars that we all find so annoying, and brings the speech recognition experience to an unrivaled level. Users can simply state their inquiry in their own words. CSR determines the concepts conveyed and reacts to them according to your specifications.

Conceptual Speech Commander (CSC) is your key to unlocking the power of CSR. With CSC, you too can develop a CSR enabled system that analyzes speech content, extracts a true understanding of the concepts communicated by your customers and enables your system to respond accordingly. A CSR enabled system will help decrease the number of callers opting out of the system, and will save costs by minimizing the need for human intervention.

Conceptual Speech Commander allows for speech recognition unmatched by anything else in the industry by recognizing a concept conveyed in the speakers own words.

Conceptual Speech Commander Pre-Release 2 is available for download here.

What is Conceptual Speech Recognition and what can it do for you?

Conceptual Speech Recognition uses phonetic, syntactic, statistical and conceptual analysis to accurately calculate and react to concepts conveyed by speakers.

It can significantly improve your bottom-line by offering a more spontaneous interaction to customers while reducing the number of calls that need to be handled by live operators.

Example of applications built with Conceptual Speech Commander

  • Call routing:
Let customers get to the point in one step by stating what they want to do in their own words.

  • Automated answering:
Enables your callers to make inquires using natural language and giving them accurate responses in return.

  • Command and control and embedded input:
In the foreseeable future, speech will become the ultimate tool for interacting with most devices. In order for that to happen, speech must be analyzed intelligently, not just by matching sounds or grammars. Conceptual Speech Commander enables conceptual understanding in the analysis process that makes it possible to understand of speech to an unrivaled level.

  • Language is not exclusively for linguists: With CSC, you don’t need to understand or rely on grammars. If you have a thorough understanding of the English and some senior programming experience, you have enough knowledge to build and customize CSR system so it can understand and react to speech inquiries according to your needs. The pre-determined syntactic and conceptual rules are highly customizable, and can be made more flexible or stricter depending on your targeted audience. Our dictionary explorer enables you to build and fine-tune conceptual domains that meet the needs of your business. With CSC, your developers can create and maintain your own system, further reducing your cost and dependence on outside resources. Of course, our technicians are always ready to provide any support you may need.

  • Concepts are central: In CSC, concepts conveyed are the key. As for human communications, words are only of interest in order to get to the concepts.

  • Test environment: The CSC Software Development Kit (SDK) allows you to periodically run your test cases to ensure a high level of response accuracy. The SDK comes standard with CSC.

  • The flexibility and power of a SDK: Conceptual Speech Commander has an open architecture and comes complete with a development kit that allows your developers to do whatever you want. Whether the recognized concepts should result in database updates, call initiation or command and control, the capability of the CSC SDK to interface with a variety of programming languages makes everything possible.

  • The Dictionary Explorer: A development environment adapted for the production of Conceptual Speech Commander implementations is part of the product. Using the Dictionary Explorer, words can be added and defined conceptually, and syntactic and conceptual rules can be manipulated. The Dictionary Explorer is the only component required to produce a complete and powerful natural language understanding system.

  • Conceptual Speech Commander environments can also be used with CLUE: When you decide that your CSR system is so good that you want to extend it to processing digital text just as efficiently, you can integrate our Conceptual Language Understanding Engine (CLUE) to your system and analyze emails or web-forms with little effort since both use the same configuration language and technology!

  • The CSC console: Once your implementation is deployed, monitoring accuracy and performance is what makes a good system even better. The CSC console is adapted for that task, and comes standard with CSC.

  • Solutions: Concept manipulation is fairly novel. We can either build your CSC system for you, or help you develop your own solution with the support of our team of qualified engineers. However you choose, Conceptual Speech Technologies, LLC is available to help you in create complete solutions for your speech enabled customer support needs.

  • Pricing Model: Our pricing model is based on the number of ports used in your Conceptual Speech Commander deployments.

  • Hardware Requirements:
    • 2GHz Pentium 4, Athlon XP
    • 512 MB of RAM
    • 500 MB of free disk space
